EMERGENCY! Ward LaFrance L.A. County Engine 51. Made in celebration of the 50th anniversary of the beloved 1970’s TV show EMERGENCY! by Iconic Replicas. Introduced as the Mark I in 1962, this engine was eventually renamed the Ambassador, and stayed in production until 1979. The 1973 Ward LaFrance Ambassador earned a degree of fame when it was first featured on season 3 of the hit TV show EMERGENCY!, appearing in every episode after its premieruntil the end of the series in 1977. This finely detailed diecast is part of a limited production of 3000 pieces. A portion of the proceeds benefits the Los Angeles County Fire Department Foundation. This Foundation funds a wide variety of services for department members and citizens of the L.A. County. A must have for the serious fire apparatus diecast collector. 1:50 scale.
