About Us

The Fire Bell is a specialty shop catering to the Fire, Police and EMS Professionals and Volunteers.  Our retail shop was located on Cape Cod, and was founded in by Retired Firefighter, Jack Cuneo and his wife Sonja.  The business is now owned and operated by Jack and Sonja’s daughter, Heather Cuneo-Burns, however our West Dennis shop location is now closed. Jack was an expert in fire memorabilia,  so Sonja suggested opening the shop when Jack retired after 40 years of Fire Service, most recently as Deputy Chief and Acting Fire Chief in the Town of Tewksbury, Massachusetts.  The shop opened in 1988, and ultimately expanded to the internet.  Visitors from around the globe and from all across the USA,  including Hawaii and Alaska,  have stopped by our shop in West Dennis, and we continue to ship worldwide. Moving forward, Heather and her family will continue to honor Jack and Sonja’s legacy by maintaining a good relationship with the firefighting community and offering the same high level of customer service that patrons have come to expect from The Fire Bell.
